Stand Up Promotions Muay Thai National Championship – July 9th, 2011 in CA

Stand Up Promotions presents another quality card starring some of the West Coast’s best Amateur and Professional talent. The main event of the evening features an MTAA Super Welterweight Title bout between Shane Oblonsky and Bryce Krause.

Bryce Krause is looking to get back in the ring after a layoff of over a year due to an elbow injury, while Shane Oblonsky is looking to protect his 154 lb MTAA Super Welterweight Title at all costs. Oblonsky, is coming off a Unanimous Decision win over Xu Yan in Las Vegas where he put on a stellar performance. Having had the privilege of seeing both of these guys fight, this bout should be a war between two exciting fighters.

The main event may have a lot to live up to as Jose Palacios and Artem “The Russian Experiment” Sharoshkin face off in the center of the ring ready to exchange leather, shin bone and patella pie in the co-main event. Both Jose and Artem are coming off impressive performances, with Jose winning his previous bout with a brutal KO at 0:25 of Round 1 while Artem Sharoshkin fought a cracker of a bout with Borzoo Honargohar that ended with a decision in his favor.

Meanwhile, in the 3rd Pro fight of the evening Borzoo Honargohar looks to rebound from the loss at the hands of “The Russian Experiement” when he squares off with Sheldon Gaines.
