December 2011 Coach Training Weekend Pt 1

I just wanted to take some time to write of some of the experiences I had of the recent Dec 9 – 11, 2011 Coach Training Weekend. First of all it did not actually start on Friday Dec 9th. Truth be told I double booked a seminar at Hudson Valley Haganah in Milford, PA for the same date. With The Understanding of Coach Ed of HVH, we re-scheduled for Thursday Dec 8. What was I thinking?!  4 Days in a row? To add to it I knew traffic would be a mess considering that I had to be there by 6pm coming from another state and I also had an afternoon martial art school webinar for Chmpions Way THE SAME DAY, too! LOL

Anyway, i thought the webinar went great and I was on the road to PA and it was cold, then I saw snow.  At the end of the day I still got there early enough to had a quick cup of coffee and visit the brand new location of Hudson Valley Haganah. Not only Is Coach Ed DuPlessis extremely courteous, his students are very disciplined and open minded. My favorite kind of seminar setting. Now, back at the ranch…

Coaches are hitting me all morning about being a bit late for the first day of training, but that is okay since we are busy with late shipment of tables and chairs for the Business Presentation for the instructors and owners. As we are preparing, we are honored by Professor Ricardo Almeida, his wife and 2 instructors/fighters entering our camp, ready to hear about KRU Muay Thai Strategies for the afternoon.  Once everyone arrived, many by plane that morning, we got started and I had all the energy in the world. Sharing what I love, and those present sharing their experiences too.This was going to be a good day.
