M1 Grand Muay Thai Championships

The much anticipated August event for Stand Up Promotions which will feature a main event between Saenchai and Kevin Ross has received a date and venue change. Originally scheduled for August 13th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA the event will instead be taking place on August 14th at Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA.

Commerce Casino is a significantly smaller venue than the Anaheim Convention Center. Muay Thai fans that are planning on attending the event should purchase their tickets in advance because it is expected to sell out. You do not want to try and wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets at the event because odds are you wont be able to get in. Commerce Casino fits roughly 1,200 fans so if you want to be one of those 1,200 get your tickets early.

Saenchai and Kevin Ross will fight for the MTAA world title which Saenchai currently holds and in addition will also be fighting for the WBC Muay Thai diamond championship. Other fights scheduled for the card are Coke Chunahawat vs. Tetsuya Yamato, Rungravee Sasiprapa vs. Kunitaka Fujiwara, Shane Oblonsky vs. Artem Shaorshkin. Below is a tentative list of the expected fight card for the event.
