Here is a blog post from KRU Training Junior Student Alaia Masuda:
Instructor Joe said that once you put your goals online, out for the world to see, you’re held accountable…soo I need to share something…
I have been running 2 miles everyday for 4 days now…my shortest time is 18 min,42 sec…
I think it is going to be really helpful for me in the future…
When I run, my calves would start burning, my feet would get sore, my knees would feel weak…I just say to myself “This is not pain. This is discomfort.” I repeat in my head and out loud the names of every person that has defeated me in competition…THEY NEVER GAVE UP
But, my goal in Martial Arts is something that was inspired by Coach Joe Rossi’s training sessions…
I want to reach the 100 pushup mark in two sets, at least 50 in each…in two sets, I usually finish 60-70 pushups but I’m not giving up…
I want to bang out 10 pullups with fatgrips for 4 reps…I usually do 10, 10, 10, and fail at the last rep but I’m not giving up…
I’m soo close…but now, I’m held accountable…
I CAN DO THIS
